What makes Klim gear different from other motorcycle equipment?

Our products like 4-Season Jackets, Armored Vests, and DOT-certified Adventure Helmets combine technical fabrics (including GORE-TEX®) with armored protection systems. Each piece undergoes rigorous Rider-Spec Inspection before shipping.
How do I choose between Dirt, Dual Sport, and City Jackets?
Our Dirt line focuses on off-road protection with maximum ventilation. Dual Sport gear offers hybrid designs for mixed terrain (like our Adventure Jackets/Pants). Are Klim gloves compatible with touchscreens?
Select models in our Gauntlet Gloves and Dirt Bike Gloves collections feature touchscreen-compatible fingertips. Look for the “TouchTech” designation in product descriptions.

Ordering & Payments

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major adventure currencies: Visa, MasterCard, JCB, and PayPal. All transactions are securely processed with 256-bit encryption.
Why was my credit card declined?
Common reasons include: insufficient funds, international transaction blocks (contact your bank), or mismatched billing information. For armored gear like Armor Inserts or Adventure Helmets, some banks flag high-value protective equipment purchases – simply verify the transaction with your card issuer.

Shipping & Delivery

Where does Klim ship?
We deliver globally to six continents from our Washington facility (excluding some remote Asian regions). Both shipping options (Express Expedition via DHL/FedEx and Adventure Class via EMS) include full tracking.
How long until I receive my gear?
  • Processing: 1-2 days for climate-controlled packaging and customs documentation
  • Express Expedition: 10-15 days after dispatch ($12.95 USD)
  • Adventure Class: 15-25 days after dispatch (FREE on orders over $50)
Note: Delivery of Full Face helmets may require additional processing for safety certification.
Do you ship to PO boxes?
Due to signature requirements for armored gear, we only ship to physical addresses. This ensures proper delivery of your Adventure Jackets, Armored Bottoms, and other protective equipment.

Returns & Exchanges

What’s your return policy?
You have 15 days from delivery to initiate returns. All Armor Inserts and Adventure Pants must be unused with original tags. Email [email protected] with your order number to begin the process. Return shipping costs are the rider’s responsibility unless the item is defective.
Can I exchange my Base & Mid Layers for a different size?
Absolutely! We recommend trying technical layers with your Adventure Jackets during the 15-day window. Include the unworn item with tags and a note specifying your desired size. Size exchanges are free for in-stock items.
What if my gear arrives damaged?
While our Climate-Controlled Packaging prevents most issues, immediately photograph any damage and email [email protected]. We’ll expedite replacement of defective Adventure Helmets or Air Bags at no cost.

Product Care

How should I clean my GORE-TEX® Adventure Jacket?
Machine wash cold with technical detergent (no fabric softeners). Re-treat with DWR (Durable Water Repellent) annually. Never dry clean armored gear – this compromises the protective layers.
Do you offer armor replacement for worn gear?
Yes! The Armor Inserts in our Armored Vests and Bottoms are replaceable. Email us your gear’s model/year for compatible CE-certified armor recommendations.
